Traditional organic light-emitting materials hinder their anti-counterfeiting application in solid state due to their aggregation-caused quenching effect. A facile and straightforward method was reported to introduce AIE molecules into microspheres and manipulate different reaction parameters to prepare AIE microspheres with different morphologies. In this strategy, fluorescent microspheres with spherical, apple-shaped, and hemoglobin-like types were synthesized.

Purpose: The objective of this study was to evaluate the perioperative outcomes and complications associated with the use of acetylsalicylic acid (ASA) in deceased donor kidney transplantation (KTX), with a particular focus on bleeding events.
Methods: We retrospectively analyzed 157 kidney transplant recipients (KTRs) who underwent KTX at Charité Berlin, Department for Urology, between February 2014 and December 2017. Patients were divided into two groups: patients with ASA in their preoperative medication (Group A, n = 59) and patients without ASA use (Group B, n = 98).

Fibrils from food proteins were widely reported but it has not been reported on sus scrofa hemoglobin. Utilizing fibrillization strategies can efficiently utilize hemoglobin and reduce waste. This work explores a new strategy to prepare hemoglobin-derived fibrils by removing the heme group.

Study Objectives: The complete blood count (CBC) is one of the most commonly ordered blood tests with a large range of reference values that does not consider time of day for interpretation. Our objective was to systematically review this topic to report on peak and trough timing of CBC values.
Methods: A systematic search was performed for studies evaluating any component of the CBC with at least three collections over 24 hours.
