Real time analysis of pharmaceuticals in controlled release nano and microsystems remains a challenge. It is hypothesized that fluorine 19 nuclear magnetic resonance (F qNMR) can be used for real time quantification and in vitro release of maraviroc (MVC). The release of maraviroc was analyzed in simulated body fluids from spray dried sodium alginate microspheres (MS) using the F qNMR method. Calibration produced a linearity curve in concentration range (0.42 mg/ml - 15 mg/ml), and the limits of detection and quantification values were 0.97 mg/ml and 2.93 mg/ml, respectively. The method was confirmed to be specific, accurate, precise, and robust (%RSE > 2%). MVC was successfully microencapsulated (18% w/w) as evidenced by the FT-IR spectra and SEM images. The MS had an average diameter of 2.522 ± 0.15 μm, with a zeta potential of - 61.31 ± 2.1 mV. Overall, the F qNMR method enabled a direct and real time quantification of MVC for an efficient drug release kinetics. This approach could be potentially used to quantify fluorinated drug potency, purity, and stability, and evaluate in vitro release kinetic from different formulations.

Digital health platforms for asthma self-management have demonstrated promise in improving clinical and quality of life outcomes. However, few studies have examined such an approach in a real-world, fully remote setting. As such, we evaluated the benefit of an evidence-based digital self-management platform for asthma-both on its own and when integrated into an established virtual clinical service.

Introduction: Heavy metal pollution threatens the biodiversity and ecological equilibrium of the Nile River. This study investigates the impact of heavy metal pollution on aquatic animals such as Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) in the Damietta branch of the River Nile and El-Rayah El-Tawfeeky canal in Benha City in Egypt.
Methods: Fish and water samples were collected from the Damietta branch and El-Rayah El-Tawfeeky during the fall of 2022.

Background: The involvement of microRNA-668 (miR-668) in the onset and progression of renal fibrosis remains unclear. To this end, we aimed to explore the relevant mechanism of miR-668 in renal fibrosis.
Methods: C57BL/6 J male mice were randomly divided into sham-operated, unilateral ureteral obstruction (UUO), and UUO-fenofibrate groups.

As molecular research on hemp (Cannabis sativa L.) continues to advance, there is a growing need for the accumulation of more diverse genome data and more accurate genome assemblies. In this study, we report the three-way assembly data of a cannabidiol (CBD)-rich cannabis variety, 'Pink Pepper' cultivar using sequencing technology: PacBio Single Molecule Real-Time (SMRT) technology, Illumina sequencing technology, and Oxford Nanopore Technology (ONT).
