Transseptal puncture for atrial fibrillation ablation is a safe and common procedure. However, complications, such as cardiac tamponade, may be fatal if not recognized and treated. Our goal is to report a bailout strategy, by which management of an inadvertent puncture of the posterior wall of the left atrium was possible. It was followed by successful pulmonary vein isolation, without the need for subsequent subxiphoid puncture.

Bilateral anophthalmia, a clinical condition characterized by the absence of globe and ocular tissues from both the orbits, presents considerable challenges to a patient's daily routine and use of prostheses. The patient's inability to orientate custom ocular prostheses (COPs) 3-dimensionally is understandable, and they typically rely on caregivers to manage the prostheses and prevent inadvertent injury to the socket. This clinical report describes the successful integration of braille script into COPs as a solution to these challenges by improving prosthesis management, decreasing caregiver dependence, and encouraging independence.

Background: Delirium is a common issue in critical care, yet its prevention and management strategies are often inconsistent. Understanding the factors that lead to the omission or delay in delirium-related care by critical care nurses is essential for enhancing patient outcomes.
Objectives: This study aimed to identify the specific delirium-related prevention and management strategies that are frequently missed or delayed by critical care nurses.

Objective: Carotid body tumors (CBTs) are rare neoplasms of the paraganglia at the carotid bifurcation. While typically benign, CBTs occasionally exhibit malignancy, metastasizing to nearby lymph nodes. Histopathologic analysis alone is insufficient to confirm malignancy, requiring metastases to non-neuroendocrine tissue for a definitive diagnosis.

Iatrogenic urethral-rectal perforation represents a rare but severe complication arising from medical interventions, notably highlighted in the context of Foley catheter insertion. This case report outlines the presentation, diagnosis, management, and outcomes of a 71-year-old male patient who experienced iatrogenic rectal perforation during the routine insertion of a Foley catheter, against the backdrop of several predisposing factors, such as atrial fibrillation, valvular disease, benign prostatic hyperplasia, urethral stenosis, and colorectal cancer with liver metastasis. The inadvertent creation of a rectourethral fistula during the procedure led to an urgent multidisciplinary approach involving surgery and postoperative management, including fecal and urine diversion and antibiotic therapy.

Integrating robots and artificial intelligence (AI) into workplaces is becoming increasingly prevalent across various sectors, including hospitality. This trend has raised concerns regarding employee anxiety and the potential for higher turnover intentions, particularly when AI technologies are perceived to undermine professional expertise. This study explores the relationship between awareness of robotics and AI and employee turnover intentions, framed within the Conservation of Resources Theory (COR).
