Addressing the environmental challenges posed by oil spills and industrial wastewater is critical for sustainable development. Graphene aerogels demonstrate significant potential as highly efficient adsorbents due to their high specific surface area, excellent structural tunability and outstanding chemical stability. Among available fabrication methods, the hydrothermal self-assembly technique stands out for its low cost, high tunability and good scalability.

This research presents a systematic review of the application of metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) to detect volatile organic compounds (VOCs). VOCs, compounds with high vapor pressure at ambient temperature and normal pressure, are widely present in a variety of industrial and living environments. VOCs are not only hazardous to the environment but also have a severe impact on human health.

Two-dimensional (2D) hexagonal boron nitride (hBN) has garnered significant attention due to its exceptional thermal and chemical stability, excellent dielectric properties, and unique optical characteristics, making it widely used in deep ultraviolet (DUV) applications. However, the integration of hBN with plasmonic materials in the visible region (532 nm) has not been fully explored, particularly in terms of morphology regulation and size control of mono- and bimetallic nanoparticles (BMNPs) namely gold (Au), silver (Ag) and Au-Ag. A Schottky junction-based metal-semiconductor contact configuration is employed to achieve hot-carrier reflections on the metal side, enhancing the quantum efficiency of the photodetector.

This paper proposes a solution to the challenging task of autonomously landing Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs). An onboard computer vision module integrates the vision system with the ground control communication and video server connection. The vision platform performs feature extraction using the Speeded Up Robust Features (SURF), followed by fast Structured Forests edge detection and then smoothing with a Kalman filter for accurate runway sidelines prediction.
