: Contrast-enhanced FLAIR images have unsurpassed value for the radiological depiction of hypertensive papilledema. FLAIR acquisition should therefore be performed after intravenous contrast, especially in the of work-up of intracranial hypertension and/or tumor.

An assessment scheme is proposed to evaluate GBM gross tumor core and T2-FLAIR hyper-intensity segmentations on preoperative multicentric MR images as a function of tumor morphology and MRI characteristics. 74 gross tumor core and T2-FLAIR hyper-intensity BraTS-Toolkit and DeepBraTumIA automatic segmentations, and 42 gross tumor core neurosurgeon manual segmentations were accordingly evaluated. Brats-Toolkit and DeepBraTumIA generally provide accurate segmentations, particularly for the most common round-shaped or well-demarked tumors, where: (1) gross tumor segmentation correctly includes necrosis and contrast enhanced tumor in 100% and 97.

Background: The pathological sub-classification of lung cancer is crucial in diagnosis, treatment and prognosis for patients. Quick and timely identification of pathological subtypes from imaging examinations rather than histological tests could help guiding therapeutic strategies. The aim of the study is to construct a non-invasive radiomics-based model for predicting the subtypes of lung cancer on brain metastases (BMs) from multiple magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) sequences.

Objective: The leptomeningeal ivy sign is a distinctive finding of moyamoya disease (MMD), characterized by a linear high signal intensity along the cortical sulci on contrast-enhanced T1 magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and fluid-attenuated inversion-recovery MRI. We recently identified a similar linear enhancement along the cortical sulci using gadolinium-enhanced vessel wall MRI (VWMR) in patients with MMD. The aim of this study was to introduce the concept of the "VWMR ivy sign (VIS)".

Objective: We aimed to elucidate the histopathological pre-diagnosis of cranial gliomas with magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) techniques in gliomas.
Method: A total of 82 glioma patients were enrolled to our study. Pre-operative conventional MRI images (non-contrast T1/T2/flair/contrast-enhanced T1) and advanced MRI images (DAG and ADC mapping, MRI spectroscopy and perfusion MRI [PMRI]) were analyzed.

Background: Isocitrate dehydrogenase (IDH) wild-type (IDH) glioblastomas (GB) are more aggressive and have a poorer prognosis than IDH mutant (IDH) tumors, emphasizing the need for accurate preoperative differentiation. However, a distinct imaging biomarker for differentiation mostly lacking. Intratumoral thrombosis has been reported as a histopathological biomarker for GB.
