Aim: This study aims to evaluate the impact of the National Tobacco Control Program initiative on the attitudes toward tobacco use and tobacco dependency among transgender individuals in Puducherry.
Materials And Methods: A Quasi-experimental design was used to examine the effectiveness of the intervention. The study involved 52 transgender individuals from the SCOHD organization in Puducherry.

In recent years, with the policy reform of new drug review and approval, China has ushered in a surge of innovative drug development. Based on the Pharnexcloud database and the Pharmcube database, we analyzed the innovative drugs approved for marketing and entered clinical trials in China, sorted out the major research and development (R&D) institutions and enterprises, the distribution of innovative drug target types, and the primary therapeutic areas of the approved innovative drugs, and compared with the global innovative drug R&D landscape. Since 2020, China's innovative drug development has shown a rapid growth trend, with intense competition among biopharmaceutical companies, and the emergence of a number of leading biopharmaceutical enterprises.

Background: Pulmonary space-occupying lesions are typical chronic pulmonary diseases that contribute significantly to healthcare resource use and impose a large disease burden in China. A time-series ecological trend study was conducted to investigate the associations between environmental factors and hospitalizations for pulmonary space-occupying lesions in North of China from 2014 to 2022.
Methods: The DLNM was used to quantify the association of environmental factors with lung cancer admissions.

Introduction: COVID-19 has caused tremendous hardships and challenges around the globe. Due to the prevalence of asymptomatic and pre-symptomatic carriers, relying solely on disease testing to screen for infections is not entirely reliable, which may affect the accuracy of predictions about the pandemic trends. This study is dedicated to developing a predictive model aimed at estimating of the dynamics of COVID-19 at an early stage based on wastewater data, to assist in establishing an effective early warning system for disease control.
