Tear trough deformity (TTD) is a significant cosmetic concern, with current treatments relying primarily on invasive injectable fillers, which are costly and carry risks of complications. Despite the widespread use of hyaluronic acid (HA) in cosmetic applications, its poor dermal permeation has limited the development of effective topical fillers for TTD.This study aim to develop and evaluate a novel hyaluronic acid nanogel (nanofiller, NF) as a non-invasive topical filler for TTD.

Background: Injuries to the common peroneal nerve often result in significant sensory and motor function loss, severely affecting patients' quality of life. Although existing treatments, including medication and surgery, provide some degree of efficacy, their effectiveness is limited by factors such as tolerance and adverse side effects.
Methods: This study aims to evaluate the effects of a 4-week regimen of mirror therapy combined with neuromuscular electrical stimulation on lower limb function, muscle strength, and sensation in patients with common peroneal nerve injuries.

Introduction: Antibiotic overuse is driving a global rise in antibiotic resistance, highlighting the need for robust antimicrobial stewardship (AMS) initiatives to improve prescription practices. While antimicrobials are essential for treating sepsis and preventing surgical site infections (SSIs), they can inadvertently disrupt the gut microbiota, leading to postoperative complications. Treatment methods vary widely across nations due to differences in drug choice, dosage, and therapy duration, affecting antibiotic resistance rates, which can reach up to 51% in some countries.

Consolidation with PD-1/PD-L1-based immune checkpoint blockade after concurrent platinum-based chemo-radiotherapy has become the new standard of care for advanced stage III unresectable non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) patients. In order to further improve therapy outcomes, innovative combinatorial treatment strategies aim to target additional immunosuppressive barriers in the tumor microenvironment such as the CD73/adenosine pathway. CD73 and adenosine are known as crucial endogenous regulators of lung homeostasis and inflammation, but also contribute to an immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment.

Background: Malignant obstructive jaundice (MOJ) is characterized by the presence of malignant tumors infiltrating or compressing the bile duct, causing poor bile drainage, generalized yellowing, pain, itching, and malaise. MOJ is burdensome for both the society and the families of affected patients and should be taken seriously.
Aim: To evaluate the clinical effect of stent placement during endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography for relieving MOJ and the efficacy of percutaneous transhepatic biliary drainage in terms of liver function improvement, complication rates, and long-term patient outcomes.
