Background: The coexistence of transthyretin cardiac amyloidosis (ATTR-CA) and aortic stenosis (AS) is increasingly recognized, but the clinical consequences are unclear. We aimed to characterize clinical outcomes in AS plus ATTR-CA compared with only AS or ATTR-CA.
Methods And Results: In a retrospective cohort study, patients with AS only, ATTR-CA only, or AS plus ATTR-CA were identified using all-payer claims data (2015-2021).

Introduction: Sarcopenia, characterized by reduced skeletal muscle mass (RMM), is increasingly recognized as a significant factor influencing outcomes in various health conditions, including stroke. Although most studies focus on sarcopenia developing during stroke rehabilitation, the impact of sarcopenia present at the onset of acute ischemic stroke remains underexplored. This study aims to evaluate the effect of RMM at stroke onset on 3-month functional outcomes in acute ischemic stroke patients.

Background: Circadian disruptions are increasingly recognized in Alzheimer's disease (AD) patients and may influence disease onset and progression. This study examines how AD pathology affects blood-borne factors that regulate circadian rhythms.
Methods: Eighty-five participants from the Sino Longitudinal Study on Cognitive Decline were enrolled: 35 amyloid-beta negative normal controls (Aβ- NCs), 23 amyloid-beta positive normal controls (Aβ+ NCs), 15 patients with amnestic mild cognitive impairment (aMCI), and 12 with Alzheimer's disease dementia (ADD).
