We report on the evolution of the average and depth-dependent magnetic order in thin-film samples of biaxially stressed and electron-doped EuTiO for samples across a doping range < 0.1 to 7.8 × 10 cm. Under an applied in-plane magnetic field, the -type antiferromagnetic ground state undergoes a continuous spin-flop phase transition into in-plane, field-polarized ferromagnetism. The critical field for ferromagnetism slightly decreases with an increasing number of free carriers, yet the field evolution of the spin-flop transition is qualitatively similar across the doping range. Unexpectedly, we observe interfacial ferromagnetism with saturated Eu moments at the substrate interface at low fields preceding ferromagnetic saturation throughout the bulk of the degenerate semiconductor film. We discuss the implications of these findings for the unusual magnetotransport properties of this compound.

Nitrogen doped Carbon Quantum Dots (NCQDs) have been synthesized using most economical and easiest hydrothermal process. Here, N-phenyl orthophenylenediamine and citric acid were utilised as a source of nitrogen and carbon for the preparation of NCQDs. The synthesized NCQDs were characterized using experimental techniques like UV - Vis absorption, FT-IR, transmission electron microscopy (TEM), X-ray Diffraction (XRD), EDX, dynamic light scattering (DLS), fluorimeter and time resolved fluorescence spectroscopy.

A fluorescence "turn-off-on" nanoprobe is designed by using europium-doped strontium molybdate perovskite quantum dots (Eu:SMO PQDs) for the sequential detection of hypoxanthine (Hx) and Fe. The Eu:SMO PQDs were prepared by the sol-gel method using Sr(NO), (NH)MoO.4HO, and Eu(OCOCH) as precursors.

Preparation of Molecularly Imprinted Electrochemical Sensors and Analysis of the Doping of Epinephrine in Equine Blood.

Sensors (Basel)

December 2024

Shandong Provincial Key Laboratory of Monocrystalline Silicon Semiconductor Materials and Technology, Shandong Provincial Engineering Research Center of Organic Functional Materials and Green Low-Carbon Technology, Shandong Universities Engineering Research Center of Integrated Circuits Functional Materials and Expanded Applications, College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Dezhou University, Dezhou 253023, China.

In this paper, a novel molecularly imprinted polymer membrane modified glassy carbon electrode for electrochemical sensors (MIP-OH-MWCNTs-GCE) for epinephrine (EP) was successfully prepared by a gel-sol method using an optimized functional monomer oligosilsesquioxane-AlO sol-ITO composite sol (ITO-POSS-AlO). Hydroxylated multi-walled carbon nanotubes (OH-MWCNTs) were introduced during the modification of the electrodes, and the electrochemical behavior of EP on the molecularly imprinted electrochemical sensors was probed by the differential pulse velocity (DPV) method. The experimental conditions were optimized.

In this work, we present the green synthesis of complex - derived from β-hidroxymethylidene indanones by ultrasound, which allowed for the obtaining of compounds in a shorter time and with good yields. These organotin complexes were then doped with cobalt porphine and incorporated into a poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene):poly(4-styrenesulfonate) matrix to manufacture composite semiconductor films. The semiconductor films were characterized through atomic force microscopy, examining their topography, Knoop hardness (around 17 HK), and tensile strength, which varied from 5 × 10 to 7 × 10 Pa.
