Objective: Few prognostic analyses have been conducted for papillary thyroid cancer (PTC) patients with preablative stimulated Tg >10 ng/mL. We investigated the therapeutic responses and prognosis of these patients after the initial radioiodine (RAI) therapy.
Methods: We retrospectively assessed 256 patients with PTC who underwent RAI remnant ablation after total thyroidectomy, and all presTg levels were >10 ng/mL.

Introduction: The rate of nondiagnostic and indeterminate cytology findings from fine-needle aspiration biopsy (FNAB) is quite high, resulting in repeated puncture and unnecessary surgery. The primary objective of this investigation is to compare diagnostic accuracy of core-needle biopsy (CNB) with repeat FNAB for thyroid nodules with initially inconclusive (nondiagnostic and/or atypia of undetermined significance) FNAB results.
Materials And Methods: A thorough search was performed on the Cochrane Library, Scopus, Europe PMC, and Medline databases until October 20th, 2024, employing a combination of pertinent keywords.

Rationale: Follicular tumors with uncertain malignant potential of the thyroid are a new classification of thyroid tumors in the World Health Organization (2017). Only a few cases of evaluating the value of ultrasound combined with pathological examination in diagnosing follicular tumors with uncertain malignant potential of the thyroid have been reported in recent decades.
Patient Concerns: A retrospective analysis was performed on 18 patients with follicular tumors with uncertain thyroid malignant potential who underwent preoperative ultrasonography and were confirmed by operation and pathology in our hospital from January 2019 to November 2024.

Cytologically indeterminate thyroid nodules (Bethesda class III or IV) carry a 10-40% risk of malignancy. Diagnostic lobectomies are frequently performed but negative surgeries incur unnecessary costs on the healthcare system, potential complications, and negative impacts on quality of life. Molecular tests (MTs) have been developed to reduce unnecessary surgeries.

Objectives: To establish and validate a dual-modal radiomics nomogram from grayscale ultrasound and color doppler flow imaging (CDFI) of cervical lymph nodes (LNs), aiming to improve the diagnostic accuracy of metastatic LNs in differentiated thyroid carcinoma (DTC).
Methods: DTC patients with suspected cervical LNs in two medical centers were retrospectively enrolled. Pathological results were set as gold standard.
