Introduction: The transition of adolescents from pediatric to adult hospitals is a planned and guided process that involves changes in the focus, style, and location of care. During this period, complications are common in those with type 1 diabetes mellitus (T1DM). The objective of this study was to understand the influence of a nurse-led structured therapeutic education program on maintaining glycemic control and emotional wellbeing in these adolescents.

Trichoblastic carcinoma, trichoblastoma, trichoepithelioma, and basal cell carcinoma are histologically characterised by basaloid cell proliferation. In this report, we describe the case of a 76-year-old man who presented with trichoblastic carcinoma admixed with histological features of trichoblastoma, trichoepithelioma, and basal cell carcinoma. These tumours may not be situated separately but must be related to each other in terms of tumorigenesis.

Introduction: In patients with pancreatic cancer, the risk of venous thromboembolism (VTE) is high compared to other cancer types, suggesting that tumor-intrinsic features drive hypercoagulability. Tumor gene expression analysis may help unravel the pathogenesis of VTE in these patients and help to identify high-risk patients.
Aim: To evaluate the association between tumor gene expression patterns and VTE in patients with pancreatic cancer.

PRAME (PReferentially expressed Antigen in MElanoma) is a tumor-associated antigen first identified in tumor-reactive T-cell clones derived from a patient with metastatic melanoma. Immunohistochemistry (IHC) for PRAME is useful for diagnostic purposes to support a suspected diagnosis of melanoma. Anecdotally, PRAME has been observed to stain sebaceous units in glands in background skin.

We present the case of a 68-year-old woman who underwent complete endoscopic resection of a superficial serrated adenoma (SuSA). Due to its rarity and limited case reports, SuSA is often misdiagnosed as a hyperplastic lesion without malignant potential, leading to missed diagnoses. A polypoid lesion was identified in the sigmoid colon during the initial endoscopic evaluation, where it was initially classified as a sessile serrated lesion (SSL).
