Introduction: Regenerative procedures have become common in the medical and dentistry rehabilitation fields. Often, tissue regeneration maneuvers are necessary to rehabilitate patients in a safe and predictable manner. The aim of this narrative review was to highlight the molecular implications during regenerative surgery.
Evidence Acquisition: The analysis of the literature was conducted on the main scientific databases Pubmed, Scopus, MDPI.
Evidence Synthesis: After a screening of 66 results only 8 were included.
Conclusions: Knowing these molecular features, it is possible to highlight which are the biomaterials that offer greater potential and identify the best protocols according to the surgical needs.
