Background: One of the most important psychosocial factors to which doctors are exposed is the burnout syndrome, whose origin is possibly the chronic stress experienced during the development of their professional practice.
Objective: To determine the prevalence of burnout syndrome in medical specialists and risk factors.
Material And Methods: Observational, descriptive and cross-sectional study, census of medical specialists physicians in a regional hospital, with the participation of 196 of them, identification card and self-administered Maslach Burnout Inventory-Human Services Survey participated. Descriptive statistics and inferential analysis with SPSS 15.0 Epidat 3.1.
Results: 86.7% response. Burnout at 45.9%. Significant differences in those under 40 and under 15 with a stable partner. With the syndrome, a negative correlation was observed between emotional exhaustion and depersonalization and positive with a lack of personal accomplishment at work.
Conclusions: Burnout is frequent (45.9%) in medical specialists, therefore, it is considered necessary to establish preventive or intervention measures to reduce the prevalence found.

Background: Multidisciplinary teams (MDTs) are essential for cancer care but are resource-intensive. Decision-making processes within MDTs, while critical, contribute to increased healthcare costs due to the need for specialist time and coordination. The recent emergence of large language models (LLMs) offers the potential to improve the efficiency and accuracy of clinical decision-making processes, potentially reducing costs associated with traditional MDT models.

Coronary artery calcification (CAC) is a key marker of coronary artery disease (CAD) but is often underreported in cancer patients undergoing non-gated CT or PET/CT scans. Traditional CAC assessment requires gated CT scans, leading to increased radiation exposure and the need for specialized personnel. This study aims to develop an artificial intelligence (AI) method to automatically detect CAC from non-gated, freely-breathing, low-dose CT images obtained from positron emission tomography/computed tomography scans.

Purpose Of Review: The purpose of this review is to describe the development and key features of the Prospera™ Spinal Cord Stimulation (SCS) System, as well as the clinical evidence supporting its use. Prospera delivers therapy using a proprietary multiphase stimulation paradigm and is the first SCS system to offer proactive care through automatic, objective, daily, remote device monitoring and remote programming capabilities.
Recent Findings: Results from the recently published BENEFIT-02 trial support the short-term safety and efficacy of multiphase stimulation in patients with chronic pain.

Objective: The purpose of this review was to examine new evidence since our 2019 guidelines for cervical cancer (CC) screening in non-HIV immunocompromised persons and to provide updated recommendations based on literature review and expert opinion. In addition, human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine efficacy in these populations was reviewed.
Methods: A literature search was performed similar to our previous publication but was conducted through March 2023.
