Kurtin, PhD, ANP-C, AOCN®, led the session, and was joined by Alyssa Henglefelt, PharmD, BCOP, and Allyson Price, PA-C. Using a Jeopardy format, they identified specific biomarkers while discussing targeted therapies and class effects APs should be aware of.

Background: Diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA) during pregnancy poses significant risks to both the mother and fetus, with an increased risk of fetal demise. Although more prevalent in women with Type I diabetes (T1D); those with Type 2 diabetes (T2D) and gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) can also develop DKA. A lack of information about DKA during pregnancy exists worldwide, including in South Africa.

Background: There is a growing interest in the pattern of consumption of health-related information on social media platforms.
Objective: We evaluated the content of discussions around pancreatic cancer on Twitter to identify subtopics of greatest interest to health care providers and the general public.
Methods: We used an online analytical tool (Creation Pinpoint) to quantify Twitter mentions (tweets and retweets) related to pancreatic cancer between January 2018 and December 2019.
