Polyacrylic acid (PAA)-coated lanthanide oxide (LnO) nanoparticles (NPs) (Ln = Tb and Ho) with high colloidal stability and good biocompatibility were synthesized, characterized, and investigated as a new class of negative (T) magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) contrast agents at high MR fields. Their r values were appreciable at a 3.0 T MR field and higher at a 9.4 T MR field, whereas their r values were negligible at all MR fields, indicating their exclusive induction of T relaxations with negligible induction of T relaxations. Their effectiveness as T MRI contrast agents at high MR fields was confirmed from strong negative contrast enhancements in in vivo T MR images at a 9.4 T MR field after intravenous administration into mice tails.

Objectives: To improve preoperative diagnostic accuracy of struma ovarii by retrospectively reviewing magnetic resonance (MR) findings. It is beneficial to choose the most appropriate surgical modality for the patient.

Methods: We retrospectively reviewed the clinical course and MR characteristics of 52 patients who were diagnosed postoperatively with struma ovarii, pathologically, from two institutions.

Background: Clearance of brain toxins occurs during sleep, although the mechanism remains unknown. Previous studies implied that the intracranial aqueductal cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) oscillations are involved, but no mechanism was suggested. The rationale for focusing on the aqueductal CSF oscillations is unclear.

Gliomas are the most common brain tumor type in children and adolescents. To date, diagnosis and therapy monitoring for these tumors rely on magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and histopathological as well as molecular analyses of tumor tissue. Recently, liquid biopsies (LB) have emerged as promising tool for diagnosis and longitudinal tumor assessment potentially allowing for a more precise therapeutic management.

Background: Leveraging non-invasive ultra-high field, 7 Tesla (7T) MRI, with increased signal-to-noise ratio and improved soft tissue contrast afforded by 7T allows us to accurately map tissue microstructure. We aim to use 7T MR Elastography (MRE), 7T Diffusion Tensor Imaging (DTI), 3T amyloid-PET, and Preclinical Alzheimer Cognitive Composite (PACC) score to determine the relationships between these metrics in a cohort of older individuals with either normal cognition (CN), mild cognitive impairment (MCI), or Alzheimer's Disease (AD).

Methods: 7T MRE, 7T DTI, 3T PET (Fig.
