These global consensus recommendations on caries and cavities, as well as evidence that caries is the most prevalent noncommunicable disease (NCD) globally, should be shared throughout institutional, health care professional, industrial, civil society, and patient communities so that the recommendations can be incorporated into policies for achieving a dental cavity-free future. Appropriate inclusion within strategies and action plans globally and locally will accelerate progress toward Making Cavities History, as well as improving NCDs and wider health.

This study presents a comprehensive investigation into the correlation between Rare Diseases and Syndromes (RDS) and the dysphagic disorders manifested during childhood and adulthood in affected patients. Dysphagia is characterized by difficulty or an inability to swallow food of any consistency, as well as saliva or medications, from the oral cavity to the stomach. RDS often present with complex and heterogeneous clinical manifestations, making it challenging to develop standardized diagnostic and therapeutic approaches.

This finding raises an idea that nasal tissues would be a promising source of diagnostic biomarkers for Alzheimer's disease. However, the amounts of amyloid β and tau are extremely small, making it difficult to quantify the levels using conventional methods such as ELISA, and thus it is challenging to utilize them for the diagnostic biomarkers.

Stereotactic systems have traditionally used Cartesian coordinate combined with linear algebraic mathematical models to navigate the brain. Previously, the development of a novel stereotactic system allowed for improved patient comfort, reduced size, and carried through a simplified interface for surgeons. The system was designed with a work envelope and trajectory range optimized for deep brain stimulation applications only.

Background: Heterogeneous results are to be expected when multiple raters diagnose whether the dentine of a tooth with erosive tooth wear (ETW) is exposed or not. Identification of notions (fundamental concepts and understanding) about the diagnostic problem shared by groups of raters can be helpful to develop guidelines and to optimize teaching and calibration procedures. We aim to illustrate how clusters of raters with a common notion can be identified and how first insights about the notions can be obtained.
