The 24-h circadian rhythm handles a wide variety of physiological needs. Clock genes, in coordination with other tissue-specific factors regulate various processes and often turns responsible for the pathological conditions when altered. Cancer is one such disease where the clock genes have been shown to contribute at multiple levels modulating key hallmarks of cancer. Most importantly, adding to this complication, noncoding RNAs (ncRNAs) have emerged as one of the major post-transcriptional regulators of gene expression and many recent studies have indicated about involvement of microRNAs or long noncoding RNAs in the process. In this review, we have described how do circadian pathway genes participated in oncogenesis and also updated the latest status of ncRNA involvement. We also try to address the existing gaps to have a more comprehensive understanding of the phenomenon in future.: HIFs: hypoxia-inducible factors; VEGF: Vascular endothelial growth factor; Mdm2: Mouse double minute 2 homolog; ATM: Ataxia telangiectasia mutated; Chk2: Checkpoint kinase 2; Bcl-Xl: B-cell lymphoma-extra-large; Bcl-2: B-cell lymphoma 2; DGCR8: DiGeorge syndrome chromosomal region 8; PPAR-γ: Peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma.

Prostate cancer is the second most common type of cancer in male worldwide. Stromal-epithelial interaction is thought to have a major impact on cancer development and progression. Previous studies have shown that interaction via soluble factors lead to a reduction in the expression of xCT and AL122023.

Precise imaging of noncoding RNAs (ncRNAs) in specific organelles allows decoding of their functions at subcellular level but lacks advanced tools. Here we present a DNA-based nanobiotechnology for spatially selective imaging of ncRNA (e.g.

Our aim was to evaluate the regulation of messenger RNAs (mRNAs) and biological pathways by long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) and circular RNAs (circRNAs) in ischemic stroke. We employed weighted gene co-expression network analysis (WGCNA) to construct two co-expression networks for mRNAs with circRNAs and lncRNAs, respectively, to investigate their association with ischemic stroke. We compared the overlap of mRNAs and biological pathways in the stroke-associated modules of the two networks.

Non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) has emerged as one of the most prevalent malignancies worldwide. N6-methyladenosine (mA) methylation, a pervasive epigenetic modification in long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs), plays a crucial role in NSCLC progression. Here, we report that mA modification and the expression of the lncRNA stem cell inhibitory RNA transcript (SCIRT) was significantly upregulated in NSCLC tissues and cells.

In the animal kingdom, metamorphosis is a well-known developmental transition within various taxa (Cnidarians, Echinoderms, Molluscs, Arthropods, Vertebrates, etc.), which is characterized by the switching from a larval stage to an adult form through the induction of morpho-anatomical, physiological, behavioral, and/or ecological changes. Over the last decades, numerous studies have focused on the hormonal control of cellular processes underlying metamorphosis.
