With their adjustable structures and diverse functions, polyoxometalate (POM)-resorcin[4]arene-based inorganic-organic complexes are a kind of potential multifunctional material. They have potential applications for lithium ion batteries (LIBs). However, the relationship between different coordinated metal ions and electrochemical performance has rarely been investigated. Here, three functionalized POM-resorcin[4]arene-based inorganic-organic materials, [Co (TMR4 A) (H O) ][SiW O ]⋅2 EtOH⋅4.5 H O (1), [Ni (TMR4 A) (H O) ][SiW O ]⋅4 EtOH⋅13 H O (2), and [Zn (TMR4 A) (H O) ][SiW O ]⋅2 EtOH⋅2 H O (3), have been synthesized. Furthermore, to enhance the conductivities of these compounds, 1-3 were doped with reduced graphene oxide (RGO) to give composites 1@RGO-3@RGO, respectively. As anode materials for LIBs, 1@RGO-3@RGO can deliver very high discharge capacities (1445.9, 1285.0 and 1095.3 mAh g , respectively) in the initial run, and show discharge capacities of 898, 665 and 651 mAh g , respectively, at a current density of 0.1 A g over 100 runs. More importantly, the discharge capacities of 319, 283 and 329 mAh g were maintained for 1@RGO-3@RGO even after 400 cycles at large current density (1 A g ).

This paper presents a novel approach to fabricate substrate integrated waveguides (SIWs) on glass substrates with tin (Sn) through glass vias (TGVs) tailored for millimeter-wave applications. The fabrication process employs a custom-designed vacuum suctioning system to rapidly fill precise TGV holes in the glass substrate, which are formed by wafer-level glass reflow micromachining techniques with molten tin in a minute. This method offers a very fast and cost-effective alternative for complete via filling without voids compared to the conventional metallization techniques such as electroplating or sputtering.

Polyoxometalates (POMs) are composed of nanometric metal-oxide anions and have rich solution chemistry. In this class, Keggin POMs have been identified as the most influential inorganic additives for aqueous nonionic soft matter systems. POMs being at the borderline of classical ions and charged colloids possess fascinating solution properties; the present work aims to delve deeper into the interactions between nanoions and nonionic soft matters from a spectroscopic point of view.

A Tm(III)-rich silicotungstate Na{Tm(HO)[Tm(HO)(SiWO)]}·35HO () based on the open Wells-Dawson-type [SiWO] building unit was synthesized by the reaction of Na[α-SiWO]·18HO, itaconic acid, and TmCl in a HAc/NaAc buffer solution. Five kinds of Tm(III) ions were found in this compound and further linked the {TmSiW} subunit to form an interesting wavy 1D chain structure, which achieved the introduction of more lanthanide (Ln) ions into the [SiWO] unit for the first time. contains multiple exposed Tm-metal active sites, making it an efficient catalyst for the acetalization of 2-aminobenzamides/2-aminobenzenesulphonamides with aldehydes.
