Serine hydrolases, as a class of green catalysts with hydrolytic and dehydrating activities, hold significant application value in the fields of biosynthesis and organic synthesis. However, practical applications face numerous challenges, including maintaining enzyme stability and managing usage costs. PepNzymes-SH, an emerging green catalytic material with enzyme-like activity, overcomes the operational limitations of natural enzymes and holds great promise as a substitute for hydrolases.

The Facial Action Coding System (FACS) is an objective observation tool for measuring human facial behaviour. It avoids subjective attributions of meaning by objectively measuring independent movements linked to facial muscles, called Action Units (AUs). FACS has been adapted to 11 other taxa, including most apes, macaques and domestic animals, but not yet gorillas.

The forensic examination of AIGC(Artificial Intelligence Generated Content) faces poses a contemporary challenge within the realm of color image forensics. A myriad of artificially generated faces by AIGC encompasses both global and local manipulations. While there has been noteworthy progress in the forensic scrutiny of fake faces, current research primarily focuses on the isolated detection of globally and locally manipulated fake faces, thus lacking a universally effective detection methodology.

Youth living with HIV (YLWH) face psychosocial challenges and HIV-related stigma, which impact adherence to antiretroviral therapy (ART). This study was designed to understand better the change in mental health symptoms and experiences with stigma among YLWH in Tanzania who completed the original pilot Sauti ya Vijana (SYV), a mental health and life skills group intervention. YLWH who completed SYV and demonstrated a change of ≥2 points in either direction on their Patient Health Questionnaire PHQ-9 (depression screener) from baseline to 18 months were purposively sampled.
