According to the literature, a number of anti-epileptic drugs (AEDs) have an ototoxic effect. The mechanism of hearing dysfunction due to the use of AEDs is not well known. The main clinical manifestations of the cochleotoxic effect of the drugs are: tinnitus, sensorineural hearing loss, impaired pitch perception, hyperacusis.

Radiostereometric Analysis (RSA) is the most accurate method for determining early micromotions of orthopedic implants. Computed Tomography Radiostereometric Analysis (CT-RSA) is a method that can be used to determine implant and bone micromovements using low-dose CT scans. This study aimed to evaluate the reliability of the CT-RSA method in measuring the interfragmental mobility in patients who have undergone a correction osteotomy due to a malunited distal radius fracture.

Age-related macular degeneration (AMD) is a chronic multifactorial degenerative eye disease and one of the leading causes of irreversible blindness worldwide. Despite extensive research, there is no consensus on the predominant pathological mechanism leading to photoreceptor death. Purpose: This study compares the functional outcomes of correction using two different types of aberrational extended depth-of-focus (EDOF) intraocular lenses (IOLs).
Material And Methods: The study was conducted in two standardized groups (20 patients, 20 eyes in each group). Patients in group 1 were implanted EDOF IOL I, in group 2 - EDOF IOL II.
