Background: The adolescent- and youth-friendly services (AYFS) programme has the potential to address several diverse problems within adolescents' healthcare systems by improving the quality, accessibility, efficiency, and effectiveness of healthcare services. The country continues to suffer from structural and systemic factors that hinder the effective provision and implementation of AYFS despite its comprehensive legal and policy framework and commitment to enhancing young people's health. Vhembe District has not been evaluated regarding the implementation of AYFS based on WHO global standards.

Background: Hearing loss significantly affects children's lives; however, the health-related quality of life (QoL) of children with this disability is not well measured. We sought to develop a reliable and valid measure of health-related QoL in children with hearing loss.
Methods: We constructed a conceptual framework to assess the QoL of children with hearing loss based on the Pediatric Quality of Life Inventory™ Version 4.

The adoption of Standardized Structured Reporting (SSR) in pathology offers significant potential to improve data consistency, completeness, and interoperability. This study combines quantitative data from an online survey of Belgian pathologists with qualitative insights from focus group interviews to identify key factors influencing SSR implementation. Survey results demonstrate strong support for SSR, particularly in enhancing report uniformity, completeness, and efficiency, especially in multidisciplinary teams and for secondary data use.
