This patient originally presented at the age of 2 years with a 1-mm displaced lateral humeral condyle fracture after a fall. He was treated nonoperatively in a long-arm cast, and serial x-rays were followed for 1 month. At the 1-month clinic visit, the lateral condyle demonstrated excellent alignment and healing, and the long-arm cast was removed. He eased back into activities and was doing well at 3 months. He returned over 4 years later, at the age of 7 years, with the report of elbow clicking with motion. At that time, imaging demonstrated collapse of the ulnohumeral articulation.

Purpose Of Review: With the growing popularity and broadening indications for Reverse Shoulder Arthroplasty (RSA), increasing modularity in design and adjustments to each component can enhance postoperative range of motion (ROM), thus expanding treatment capabilities. This review outlines the advancements developed to optimize ROM through modifications in glenoid and humeral components and the integration of computational tools for surgical planning.
Recent Findings: Enhancements in glenoid component design aim to mitigate complications like scapular notching and improve ROM, particularly in abduction and external rotation.

Purpose Of Review: This review aims to provide a comprehensive analysis of the nonoperative management of Gartland Type II fractures in pediatric patients.
Recent Findings: Supracondylar humeral fractures (SCF) are one of the most common traumatic fractures in pediatric populations, characterized as transverse fractures at the distal humerus between the medial and lateral columns. Early studies strongly opposed closed reduction and casting as an acceptable treatment modality for Gartland type II fractures as an early case series showed high rates of complications; however, more recent studies have suggested better outcomes.

Background: The incidence of revision shoulder arthroplasty continues to rise, and infection is a common indication for revision surgery. Treatment of periprosthetic joint infection (PJI) in the shoulder remains a controversial topic, with the literature reporting varying methodologies, including the use of debridement and implant retention, single-stage and 2-stage surgeries, antibiotic spacers, and resection arthroplasty. Single-stage revision has been shown to have a low rate of recurrent infection, making it more favorable because it precludes the morbidity of a 2-stage operation.

Objective: To compare the clinical efficacy of the minimally invasive lateral shoulder approach and deltopectoral space approach in the treatment of proximal humerus fractures.
Methods: The clinical data of 95 patients with proximal humerus fractures admitted to the hospital from June 2018 to June 2023 were retrospectively collected. Forty-four patients were treated with a minimally invasive lateral shoulder approach (study group), and 51 patients were treated with a deltopectoral space approach (control group).

Pediatric elbow fractures are quite common, accounting for up to 34% of bone fractures in children. Among these, acute lateral humeral condyle (LHC) fractures represent up to 22%. The accurate diagnosis and early treatment of LHC fractures are crucial due to the potential for abnormal growth and significant long-term impacts on joint motion.
