Objectives: Cardiovascular complications are well known in humans with autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease (PKD), but limited data exist for cats. This study aimed to assess echocardiographic changes, cardiac troponin I (cTnI) levels and systolic blood pressure (SBP) in Persian cats with PKD to detect early cardiac abnormalities.
Methods: In total, 52 Persian and mixed-Persian cats were enrolled, with 26 cats in the control group and 26 diagnosed with PKD via ultrasound due to the unavailability of genetic testing.

Background: Harmonization of neuropsychological assessment for vascular cognitive disorders (VCD) is important for ensuring the highest standards for diagnostic and post-diagnostic care. A battery jointly proposed by the NINDS-CSN has received much support. Considering significant developments in the field, and an urgent need for consensus on remote and computerised assessment methods, an international expert group was commissioned to develop an updated harmonized battery and associated assessment guidelines for VCD using the Delphi process.

Background: Although frontotemporal dementia (FTD) with right anterior temporal lobe (RATL) predominance has been recognized as a separate FTD subtype, a uniform description of the syndrome is still missing. This multicenter study, led by an international working group (IWG), aims to establish a cohesive clinical phenotype and lay the groundwork for consensus on terminology and diagnostic standards.
Method: Retrospective clinical data were systematically collected across 18 dementia centers.
