Integration of Photodiagnosis and Therapy Guided by Micro/Nanorobots.

Adv Mater

March 2025

Engineering Research Center for Pharmaceuticals and Equipments of Sichuan Province, Sichuan Industrial Institute of Antibiotics, School of Pharmacy, Chengdu University, Chengdu, 610106, China.

Micro/Nanorobots(MNRs)integrated with phototherapy represent an emerging approach to cancer treatment and hold significant potential for addressing bacterial infections, neurological disorders, cardiovascular diseases, and related conditions. By leveraging micro/nanoscale motor systems in conjunction with phototherapy, these robots enable real-time guidance and monitoring of therapeutic processes, improving drug delivery precision and efficiency. This integration not only enhances the effectiveness of phototherapy but also minimizes damage to surrounding healthy tissues.

Introduction: The objective of this study is to evaluate the relationship of body image (BI) with sexual dysfunction (SD) and dyadic adjustment (DA) in individuals diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder (BD). Dyadic adjustment has been defined as a dynamic process determined by variables such as relationship differences, interpersonal tensions and personal concerns, relationship satisfaction, and couple consensus. In this context, it was specifically aimed to determine the link between these factors and quality of life (QoL) in individuals with BD based on the effects of BI on sexual function and marital adjustment.

Tralokinumab is a monoclonal antibody selectively targeting IL-13, approved for moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis (AD), for which real-world data are scarce. This prospective, observational, multicentric study aimed to assess the long-term effectiveness and safety of tralokinumab in patients with AD in a real-world setting. Primary outcomes included 50%, 75%, and 90% improvement in Eczema Area and Severity Index score (EASI50, EASI75, EASI90, respectively) and improvements in Dermatology Life Quality Index (DLQI) at 1 year.
