The paper presents the experimental studies on the effect of the water containing micro-nano bubbles of various gases on the physico-mechanical properties of lime-cement mortars. In total, 7 types of mortars were prepared: with water containing the micro-nano bubbles of O, O or CO as 50% or 100% substitute of ordinary mixing water (tap water) and the reference mortar prepared using tap water. In order to determine the influence of water with micro-nano bubbles of gases, the consistency of fresh mortar and the physical properties of hardened mortar, i.e., specific and apparent density, total porosity, water absorption by weight and capillary absorption, were established. The mechanical strength of the considered mortars was studied as well by conducting the tests for flexural and compressive strengths following 14, 28 and 56 days. Reduced workability and capillary absorption were observed in the modified mortars within the range of 0.9-8.5%. The mortars indicated an increase in the flexural strength after 28 days ranging from 3.4% to 23.5% and improved compressive strength in 1.2-31%, in comparison to the reference mortar. The conducted studies indicated increased flexural and compressive strengths along with the share of micro-nano bubbles of gases in the mixing water.

A multifunctional microfluidic chip integrated with perfusion cell culture and in situ SERS detection of cell secretion was designed and developed for the detection of IL-6 secretion from LPS-stimulation of A549 cells in this paper. Researching works were focused on A549 cell activity and secretion in the constructed LPS-stimulated A549 cells model. On the designed microchip, a bubble trap chamber was designed to remove the bubbles in the culture medium which could also be simultaneously preheated by a split hot plate.

This study focused on the application of micro-nano bubbles (MNBs) water generated using air or oxygen (O), as an alternative to chlorine-based wash for fruits. For the in vitro and in vivo investigation, 10 spore or conidia/mL Colletotrichum gloeosporioides suspension was used, and treated with solutions of air- or O-MNB for 30- or 60-min, sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl), and untreated (as control). In the second experiment, freshly harvested guava fruits were washed with tap water (control), NaOCl (standard practice), air-, or O-MNB (for 15- or 30-min).

The aim of this study was to clarify the effects of nitrification inhibitors on the dynamic changes in the nitrogen and microbial community in paddy soil under aerated irrigation by using the indica hybrid rice Zhongzheyou 8 as experimental material. A trial with three treatments was conducted in 2023: conventional flooding irrigation (CF), micro-nano bubble water aeration irrigation (MB), and micro-nano bubble water aeration irrigation combined with nitrification inhibitor (MBNI). The effects of nitrification inhibitors on the contents of NH-N and NO-N and the apparent nitrification rate of soil under aerated irrigation were analyzed, as well as the characteristics of bacterial community diversity and its correlation with soil chemical factors.

Ozone (O) treatment is an environmentally friendly fruit sterilization strategy. However, the low O utilization rate and long-term oxidation lead to O waste and fruit damage, respectively. Herein, a sterilization system based on the synergy of O micro-nano bubbles (OMNB) and spontaneously polarized ceramic (SPC) was developed to piezoelectrically catalyze ozonolysis for efficient fruit sterilization.
