Angiolipoma are benign tumors composed of mature adipocytes ad mixed with abnormal vascular elements. It reportedly accounts for 0.1-0.5% of all spinal axis tumors in adults and is extremely rare in children. This article describes a case of spinal extradural angiolipoma in a 35-year-old man, who presented with paraplegia and sphincter disorders, the MRI showed extradural spinal lesions at the level of T7 to T10, that squeezed the spinal cord. We attained total resection without any further neurological complication. The diagnosis of SEALs initially can be challenging radiologically since they may imitate other spinal lesions. The gold standard treatment modality should always be surgery, however in some cases, total resection can not be done.

Background And Objectives: Current surgical strategies for dumbbell nerve sheath tumors (DNSTs) with cord compression have primarily involved wide spinal exposures with total laminectomy and unilateral facetectomy, often leading to spinal destabilization and requiring fusion, or staged procedures separately addressing the intraspinal and extraforaminal tumor components. This study highlights technical nuances of a novel approach for DNST resection to minimize spinal destabilization and avoid fusion while facilitating safe, single-stage complete resection.
Methods: A retrospective chart review was conducted on patients undergoing DNST resection.

Background: A large variety of spinal meningeal diseases have been described in the literature, and differential diagnosis is often complex, requiring a good knowledge of the different entities and accurate neuroimaging. The purpose of this article was to depict the most relevant diagnostic features on the commonly utilized MRI sequences for the main and most frequent pathologies of the spinal arachnoid and to correlate them with intraoperative findings.
Material And Methods: Five cases harboring each different spinal meningeal diseases were analyzed, illustrated, extensively described, and discussed: arachnoid web, arachnoiditis, idiopathic spinal cord herniation, intradural arachnoid cyst, extradural arachnoid cyst.
