Published: August 2022

Four new phenylspirodrimanes, stachybotranes A-D (-), along with seven known analogues (-), were isolated from the extract of a wetland fungal strain DTH12-9. The structures of new compounds were determined by spectroscopic analyses, X-ray crystallographic analysis, and the CD analysis of the in situ formed [Rh(OCOCF)] complex. Compounds -, -, and were evaluated for in vitro cytotoxicity against five human cancer cell lines, HL-60, SMMC-7721, A-549, MCF-7, and SW-480. Compounds , , and exhibited moderate cytotoxic potency against various human cancer cell lines.
