Intervertebral thoracic disk herniation (TDH) is a rare occurrence and presents with a wide variety of symptoms. Errors in diagnosis are thought to be frequent due to the variable clinical presentations. We herein present two unusual cases of TDH presenting with abdominal pseudohernias, abdominal pain, and hypoesthesia along the T11-T12 dermatomes due to TDH at the same level.

Background: Prone transpsoas lumbar interbody fusion (PTP) is a newer technique to treat various spinal disc pathologies. PTP is a variation of lateral lumbar interbody fusion (LLIF) that is performed with the patient prone rather than in the lateral decubitus position. This approach offers similar benefits of lateral spinal surgery, which include less blood loss, shorter hospital stay, and quicker recovery compared with traditional open spine surgery.

Abdominal pseudohernia is a rare clinical condition characterized by an abnormal bulging of the abdominal wall. We present a 56-year-old male patient diagnosed with abdominal pseudohernia caused by zoster sine herpete (ZSH). The patient initially presented with a right abdominal wall bulging at the Th10 dermatome area.
