Colorectal cancer (CRC) is the third most common and second most deadly cancer worldwide. Despite advances in screening and treatment, CRC is heterogeneous and the response to therapy varies significantly, limiting personalized treatment options. Certain molecular biomarkers, including microsatellite instability (MSI), are critical in planning personalized treatment, although only a subset of patients may benefit.

Cervical cancer remains one of the leading causes of mortality among women worldwide, and its early detection is crucial to improve survival rates. While a Pap smear is widely used as a diagnostic tool, it has limitations in sensitivity and specificity due to the inherent subjectivity of cytological analysis. This study proposes a methodology for cervical cell segmentation and extraction based on the Laplacian of Gaussian (LoG) algorithm, which enables the generation of regions of interest to detect and segment cells precisely in cervical cytology samples.

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a neurodevelopmental disorder characterized by complex physiological processes. Previous research has predominantly focused on static cerebral interactions, often neglecting the brain's dynamic nature and the challenges posed by network noise. To address these gaps, we introduce the Masked Connection-based Dynamic Graph Learning Network (MCDGLN).

Objectives: Human papillomavirus (HPV) influences the pathobiology of Head and Neck Squamous Cell Carcinomas (HSNCCs). While deep learning shows promise in detecting HPV from hematoxylin and eosin (H&E) stained slides, the histologic features utilized remain unclear. This study leverages artificial intelligence (AI) foundation models to characterize histopathologic features associated with HPV presence and objectively describe patterns of variability in the HPV-positive space.
