Primary chest wall abscess due to hematogenous spread is very rare and has seldom been documented in the literature, with most reported cases attributed to . Prompt diagnosis and management with antibiotics, and evacuation of the abscess, is imperative as the infection can lead to systemic or disseminated infection, including erosion into surrounding bone if left untreated. We describe the case of a 67-year-old female with severe Crohn's disease receiving anti-tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α) therapy, Etanercept presenting with localized () chest wall abscess with erosion into the surrounding rib. This case highlights a rare clinical entity, chest wall abscess, which is also an unusual site of infection. Only three previous cases of primary chest wall abscess can be found in the published literature. This case also highlights a possible association of severe Crohn's disease predisposing to complicated soft tissue infection.

Introduction: As airway liquid is cleared into lung interstitial tissue after birth, the chest wall must expand to accommodate this liquid and the incoming air. We examined the effect of applying external positive and negative pressures to the chest wall on lung aeration in near-term rabbit kittens at risk of developing respiratory distress.
Methods: Rabbit kittens (30 days; term ∼31 days) were randomised into and groups.

Masquerading bundle branch block (MBBB) is a rare presentation of bifascicular blocks. It is the result of a right bundle branch block associated with an advanced left anterior fascicular block due to extensive damage to the conduction system. We present the case of a 75-year-old male with late onset presentation anterior wall myocardial infarction (MI) with ongoing ischemia (which evolved into a ventricular septal defect [VSD]).

Background: Interstitial lung abnormalities (ILA) are a proposed imaging concept. Fibrous ILA have a higher risk of progression and death. Clinically, computed tomography (CT) examination is a frequently used and convenient method compared with pulmonary function tests.
