Purpose: To identify clinical features which may predict the angle status of a large cohort of NVG eyes at the time of diagnosis.
Observations: Chart review was performed for all NVG eyes from 2010 to 2022. Complete angle closure was defined as having >75 % PAS, partial angle closure as having 1-75 % PAS, and open angles as having 0 % PAS.

Objective: To evaluate the longitudinal changes in the effective optical zone (EOZ) following hyperopic keratorefractive lenticule extraction (KLEx) and investigate factors influencing the EOZ.
Patients And Methods: This retrospective study included 27 patients who underwent hyperopic KLEx. According to the transition zone (TZ) sizes, they were divided into two groups: group A (21 eyes) with a 2.

Camera traps are widely used in wildlife research and monitoring, so it is imperative to understand their strengths, limitations, and potential for increasing impact. We investigated a decade of use of wildlife cameras (2012-2022) with a case study on Australian terrestrial vertebrates using a multifaceted approach. We (i) synthesised information from a literature review; (ii) conducted an online questionnaire of 132 professionals; (iii) hosted an in-person workshop of 28 leading experts representing academia, non-governmental organisations (NGOs), and government; and (iv) mapped camera trap usage based on all sources.

High-performance strain and corresponding fermentation process are essential for achieving efficient biomanufacturing. However, conventional offline detection methods for products are cumbersome and less stable, hindering the "Test" module in the operation of "Design-Build-Test-Learn" cycle for strain screening and fermentation process optimization. This study proposed and validated an innovative research paradigm combining computer vision with deep learning to facilitate efficient strain selection and effective fermentation process optimization.

Background: Chronic coronary syndromes (CCS) occur commonly in the absence of flow-limiting epicardial coronary stenoses. Ischemia or angina with no obstructive coronary arteries (INOCA/ANOCA) may be caused by coronary microvascular disease, coronary artery spasm, myocardial bridging, diffuse atherosclerosis, or a combination of disorders.
Methods & Results: We highlight the new recommendations in the 2024 European Society of Cardiology (ESC) guidelines on CCS relevant to the diagnosis and management of INOCA/ANOCA.
