Current literature is unclear on the safety and optimal timing of delivery for pregnant individuals with gestational diabetes mellitus, which inspired our study team to conduct a web-based survey study exploring patient and provider opinions on delivery options. However, an incident of fraudulent activity with survey responses prompted a shift in the focus of the research project. Unfortunately, despite the significant rise of web-based surveys used in medical research, there remains very limited evidence on the implications of and optimal methods to handle fraudulent web-based survey responses.

Background: Research on physically active learning (PAL) has mainly been investigated experimentally, where interventions have been introduced to study effects on, for example, physical activity (PA) levels. This might undermine real-world contexts and realistic PA levels when teachers have sustained PAL in their regular teaching practice for several years. The purpose of this study was to observe and describe the organization and content of a variety of teaching where PAL was enacted by experienced teachers and to describe the corresponding PA levels and PA intensity in real-world practices.

Participant representation, including the Good Participatory Practice guidelines, in the design and execution of clinical research can profoundly affect research structure and process. Early in the COVID-19 pandemic, an online registry called the Healthcare Worker Exposure Response and Outcomes (HERO) Registry, was launched to capture the experiences of healthcare workers (HCWs) on the pandemic frontlines. It evolved into a program that distributed COVID-19-related information and connected participants with COVID-19-related research opportunities.
