Here is presented raw and analysed data collected during study of the evolution, with uniaxial stretching, of the electrical and microcrystalline characteristics of polystyrene sulfonate doped poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDOT:PSS) organic electrochemical transistors (OECTs). X-ray diffraction data from GIWAXS measurements of the PEDOT:PSS material, performed at the SOLEIL light source are presented in raw and partially analysed forms. Current-voltage data, collected concurrently with the GIWAXS data, are also presented, and the evolution of the transconductance of the OECT devices with stretching is shown. GIWAXS data are only examined along the q specular reflection ridge, and scans along this ridge are extracted and presented. However, the off-specular data may also be of interest to readers and is therefore made available here in its entirety.

Understanding human behavior and human action recognition are both essential components of effective surveillance video analysis for the purpose of guaranteeing public safety. However, existing approaches such as three-dimensional convolutional neural networks (3D CNN) and two-stream neural networks (2SNN) have computational hurdles due to the significant parameterization they require. In this paper, we offer HARNet, a specialized lightweight residual 3D CNN that is built on directed acyclic graphs and was created expressly to handle these issues and achieve effective human action detection.

The microbial pollution status of river surface water is important to ensure a river-based quality drinking water supply for the public. The present study aimed to investigate bacterial contamination status in the upper Mahaweli River, the main drinking water supplier to the hill country of Sri Lanka. Both the raw surface water and treated water, taken at 14 drinking water treatment plants (DWTPs) along the river segment of 60 km between Kotmale and Victoria reservoirs, were tested for total bacterial counts (TBC), total coliform counts (TCC) and faecal coliform counts (FCC).

Over the past few decades, Swahili-English and Lithuanian-English word pair databases have been extensively utilized in research on learning and memory. However, these normative databases are specifically designed for generating study stimuli in learning and memory research involving native (or fluent) English speakers. Consequently, they are not suitable for investigations that encompass populations whose first language is not English, such as Chinese individuals.

Tool use to crack open palm nuts has been observed extensively in some capuchin monkey species. However, for southern black-horned capuchin monkeys (Sapajus nigritus cucullatus), there is only one published record of stone tool use from the 1990s, from an urban park in Londrina, Brazil. In the present study, we returned to this urban park to systematically investigate the hammer-and-anvil sites used to crack nuts by this capuchin monkey population.

Fermented foods, particularly fermented dairy products, offer significant health benefits but also present serious concerns. Probiotic bacteria, such as lactic acid bacteria (LAB), found in these foods have been strongly linked to the selection and dissemination of antibiotic resistance genes (ARGs). This study aims to examine the potential risks associated with fermented foods, despite their importance in human nutrition, by analyzing the entire production chain from raw material acquisition to storage.
