Interdisciplinary scientific consortia are seeking to identify 'genetic influences' on 'educationally relevant' traits, behaviors, and outcomes. This article examines the emerging 'knowledge infrastructure' of educational genomics, attending to the assembly and choreography of organizational associations, epistemic architecture, and technoscientific apparatuses implicated in the generation of genomic understandings from masses of bioinformation.

As data grows exponentially across diverse fields, effectively leveraging big data has become increasingly crucial. In data science and computational genomics, however, minority groups, including African Americans, are significantly underrepresented, coupled with the lack of resources and infrastructure in minority-serving institutions. This paper summarizes the second phase of our funded project that aims to enhance the data science capacity of Meharry Medical College (MMC), a Historically Black College/University (HBCU), by providing training and fostering collaborations between data scientists and researchers in basic science and biomedical fields.

Molecular dynamics (MD) simulations can be used by protein scientists to investigate a wide array of biologically relevant properties such as the effects of mutations on a protein's structure and activity, or probing intermolecular interactions with small molecule substrates or other macromolecules. Within the world of computational structural biology, several programs have become popular for running these simulations, but each of these programs requires a significant time investment from the researcher to run even simple simulations. Even after learning how to run and analyse simulations, many elements remain a "black box.
