This review details the current information on e-waste treatment using plasma technology. The current status of e-waste treatment via plasma technology from the scientific literature is presented herein, namely, moist paste battery, galvanic sludge, resin, printed circuit board, and semiconductor industries. The concept of plasma technology, classification of e-waste, contaminants of e-waste (metals, metalloids, and VOCs), and vitrification of the final product are presented herein. This review paper focuses on fusing flux agents to vitrify e-waste. Furthermore, this paper covers laboratory-scale investigations, plasma technology benefits, and reuse of material from plasma post-treatment. The use of plasma technology combined with flux agents could be recommended to eliminate contaminants from e-waste. Materials from plasma post-treatment may also be applied in environmental reuse applications.

Introduction: Detection of mutations in primary tumors and liquid biopsy samples is of increasing importance for treatment decisions and therapy resistance in many types of cancer. The aim of the present study was to directly compare the efficacy of a relatively inexpensive ultrasensitive real-time PCR with the well-established and highly sensitive technology of ddPCR for the detection of the three most common hotspot mutations of , in exons 9 and 20, that are all of clinical importance in various types of cancer.
Patients And Methods: We analyzed 42 gDNAs from primary tumors (FFPEs), 29 plasma-cfDNA samples, and 29 paired CTC-derived gDNAs, all from patients with ER+ metastatic breast cancer, and plasma from 10 healthy donors.

The increasing focus of small extracellular vesicles (sEVs) in liquid biopsy has created a significant demand for streamlined improvements in sEV isolation methods, efficient collection of high-quality sEV data, and powerful rapid analysis of large data sets. Herein, we develop a high-throughput dual-use mass spectroscopic chip array (DUMSCA) for the rapid isolation and detection of plasma sEVs. The DUMSCA realizes more than a 50% increase in speed compared to traditional method and confirms proficiency in robust storage, reuse, high-efficiency desorption/ionization, and metabolite quantification.

However, there is evidence that drug resistance mutations (DRMs) may emerge at LLV, thus compromising antiretroviral treatment (ART) response We evaluated sequencing success rates (SSR) at LLV, described HIVDR profiles and adequacy with potential efficacy of tenofovir-lamivudine-dolutegravir (TLD).
Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted among individuals with LLV at the Chantal BIYA International Reference Centre, Yaoundé, Cameroon from January 2020 through August 2021.
