DED not only interferes with daily activities like reading, driving, and computer use but also imposes a substantial economic burden due to direct healthcare costs and reduced work productivity.

A growing body of research indicates that excessive empathy, particularly high level of affective empathy, can lead to overwhelming emotional states, increasing susceptibility to psychological distress and psychiatric disorders. Research on the imposter phenomenon among mental health professionals is limited, and the relationship between imposter phenomenon, burnout, and compassion fatigue has not been studied. The current study intended to test a hypothesized model of the specific impact paths among burnout, compassion fatigue, maladaptive perfectionism, and imposter phenomenon among mental health professionals.

A narrative synthesis of 56 studies, following PRISMA guidelines, underscores the significant impact of these gamified interventions on mental health outcomes, emphasizing reductions in anxiety, depression, and burnout while improving coping skills and lifestyle habits.
