This work analyses the influence of fine concrete fractions (<5 mm) of different natures -calcareous (HcG) and siliceous (HsT)-obtained from construction and demolition waste (C&DW) on the behaviour of blended cement pastes with partial replacements between 5 and 10%. The two C&DW fractions were characterised by different instrumental techniques. Subsequently, their lime-fixing capacity and the physico-mechanical properties of the blended cement pastes were analysed. Lastly, the environmental benefits of reusing these fine wastes in the manufacture of future eco-efficient cement pastes were examined. The results show that HsT and HcG exhibit weak pozzolanic activity, owing to their low reactive silica and alumina content. Despite this, the new cement pastes meet the physical and mechanical requirements of the existing regulations for common cements. It should be highlighted that the blended cement pastes initially showed a coarser pore network, but then they underwent a refinement process between 2 and 28 days, along with a gain in compressive strength, possibly due to the double pozzolanic and filler effect of the wastes. The environmental viability of the blended cements was evaluated in a Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) concluding that the overall environmental impact could be reduced in the same proportion of the replacement rate. This is in line with the Circular Economy goals and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

Motivation: The drug-disease, gene-disease, and drug-gene relationships, as high-frequency edge types, describe complex biological processes within the biomedical knowledge graph. The structural patterns formed by these three edges are the graph motifs of (disease, drug, gene) triplets. Among them, the triangle is a steady and important motif structure in the network, and other various motifs different from the triangle also indicate rich semantic relationships.

The results of an investigation of an impact of the structure of recently synthesized bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide mono- and dicationic ionic liquids on their properties and behavior as lubricants for slippery liquid infused superhydrophobic coatings are presented for a wide temperature range. In this study, a new approach based on monitoring the surface tension of a liquid sessile droplet on top of a coating was exploited for the analysis of the evolution of the coating properties in prolonged contact with the liquid. It was found that the continuous contact with water flow results in slippery property degradation according to two different scenarios.

In this report the photophysical property of newly synthesized fluorescein based derivative 2-(5-((2,4-dichlorophenyl)diazenyl)-6-hydroxy-3-oxo-3H-xanthen-9-yl)benzoic acid has studied by spectroscopic and theoretical that is by Density Functional Theory technique. The structural and functional group of the synthesized molecule was confirmed by nuclear magnetic resonance and fourier transform infrared spectroscopy technique, and from the result so far obtained has been confirmed that molecule has a stable structure and confirmed the presence the functional groups present in the sample. The optical properties of the molecule are studied using the spectroscopic technique and it has revealed the solute-solvent interaction behaviour of the molecule and it has been observed that the bathochromic shift was of about 5 nm, from the fluorescence measurement it has revealed that the emission has been observed at green region and from the power spectra it has been confirmed the same.

Rationale And Objectives: In vivo receptor interactions vary as a function of behavioral endpoint, with key differences between reflexive and non-reflexive measures that assess the motivational aspects of pain and pain relief. There have been no assessments of D dopamine agonist / mu opioid receptor (MOR) agonist interactions in non-reflexive behavioral measures of pain. We examined the hypothesis that D/MOR mixtures show enhanced effectiveness in blocking pain depressed behaviors while showing decreased side effects such as sedation and drug reward.

Single atom alloys (SAAs) have gained tremendous attention as promising materials with unique physicochemical properties, particularly in catalysis. The stability of SAAs relies on the formation of a single active dopant on the surface of a metal host, quantified by the surface segregation and aggregation energy. Previous studies have investigated the surface segregation of non-ligated and ligated SAAs to reveal the driving forces underlying such phenomena.
