Complete lung collapse associated with sarcoidosis is exceedingly rare. Although lymphoma should be ruled out when patients with mediastinal lymphadenopathy develop lung collapse, sarcoidosis should be considered in the differential, especially when associated with fibrosing mediastinitis.

Introduction: Lung cancer is a major cause of cancer-related deaths, with 2 million new cases annually. Bronchopulmonary neuroendocrine tumors (BP-NETs) comprise about 20 % of lung cancers, including typical carcinoid tumors (TC). While tobacco is a primary risk factor, non-tobacco factors also play a role.

Introduction: This study aimed to evaluate the imaging findings of the chest flat panel detector computed tomography (FDCT) among coronavirus disease-2019 (COVID-19) positive patients during urgent/emergent interventional neuroradiologic procedures.
Materials And Methods: Chest FDCT examinations were performed using a C-arm mounted FDCT within the interventional radiology (IR) suite if the reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) results were pending in patients with clinical findings suggestive of COVID-19. In those who already had positive RT-PCR results, FDCT was performed for acute evaluation only if an acute unexpected cardiopulmonary event occurred during the procedure.

Background: Spontaneous pneumomediastinum (SPM) and subcutaneous emphysema (SE) are rare, severe, and potentially life-threatening complications associated with asthma exacerbation. Most of these conditions are benign and self-limiting. However, the overlapping symptoms between asthma exacerbation and pneumomediastinum (PM) may delay diagnosis.

Introduction: Patients with blunt chest wall injuries and rib fractures are known to have high rates of atelectasis, pneumonia, pulmonary contusion, and can develop acute respiratory distress syndrome. This can lead to ventilator requirement and dependence, deconditioning secondary to uncontrolled pain, and increased hospital length of stay (LOS). Many studies in the literature have developed triage algorithms in patients with rib fractures to guide disposition and management, and several institutions have gone on to describe their institution-specific management protocols to decrease complications related to traumatic rib fractures.

Many conditions, such as pulmonary edema, bleeding, atelectasis or collapse, lung cancer, and shadow formation after radiotherapy or surgical changes, cause Lung Opacity. An unsupervised cross-domain Lung Opacity detection method is proposed to help surgeons quickly locate Lung Opacity without additional manual annotations. This study proposes a novel method based on adversarial learning to detect Lung Opacity on chest X-rays.
