Purpose: To compare the macular and optic disc vascular parameters in the unaffected fellow eyes of subjects with unilateral pseudoexfoliation syndrome (PXS) and controls using optical coherence tomography angiography (OCTA).
Methods: The medical records of 61 eyes of 61 patients were analyzed in a retrospective study. Of these, 30 eyes were unaffected fellow eyes and 31 eyes were control eyes.

Background: Pseudoexfoliation syndrome (PES) is an age-related systemic condition that predominantly affects ocular structures and is characterized by the deposition of material on the lens, ciliary body, zonules, corneal endothelium, iris, and pupillary margin. We compared the corneal endothelial morphology, anterior segment parameters, corneal densitometry, and corneal topographic characteristics between the clinically affected and apparently normal fellow eyes of patients with clinically unilateral PES.
Methods: This was a comparative, cross-sectional study of 34 patients with clinically unilateral PES.

Prcis: In early pseudoexfoliation glaucoma (PXG), radial peripapillary capillary vessel density (RPC-VD) was reduced nasally, while the retinal nerve fiber layer (RNFL) thinned from the nasal to temporal sectors. Nonglaucomatous fellow eyes demonstrated no RPC-VD or RNFL loss in comparison to the controls.
Purpose: To evaluate peripapillary and macular vessel density (VD) in unilateral early PXG and unaffected fellow eyes compared with healthy controls.

In this case series, we present a methodology for a proof of principle for the development of a unique biomarker for pigmentary glaucoma to detect progression before nerve fiber layer loss. Out of the five patients in this case series, one was excluded because of an outlier due to pseudoexfoliation syndrome with excessively dense pigmentation of the trabecular meshwork. The remaining patients displayed a decreased visual field loss with increased superior to inferior trabecular meshwork ratios.
