Objective: To examine healthcare-seeking delays among immigrant patients with acute ischaemic stroke (AIS), identifying key factors contributing to these delays and proposing evidence-based interventions for policy formulation and research.
Design: A retrospective observational study analysing healthcare-seeking behaviours and delay times among immigrant patients with AIS treated at the Department of Neurology, Longhua District People's Hospital, Shenzhen, from December 2021 to October 2023. The study included 1356 patients with AIS, all part of the immigrant population as defined by Shenzhen Statistical Yearbook criteria.

Hunger strikes are a common occurrence in carceral settings accompanied by serious health risks and intensive health care utilization. A 2017 study on hunger strikes within the New Jersey Department of Corrections found these events most often occurred in a disciplinary setting. We undertook this study after a new state law, the Isolated Confinement Restriction Act (ICRA), improved conditions of confinement in part by reducing the utilization, nature, and duration of disciplinary housing.

Prior to , abortion was largely criminalised, but gradual changes in public opinion and legislation paved the way for liberalised abortion laws.
Objective: This study aims to examine the legal and societal developments shaping abortion laws in the United States from the early 19th century to the pre- era, focusing on the interplay between public opinion and legislative milestones.

This paper describes the reforms recommended by the Advisory Committee on the Financing of Pharmaceuticals (CAPF) for the National Health System (NHS) of Spain from 2019 to 2024 for the drug pricing and reimbursement process, to integrate economic evaluations and improve efficiency and sustainability. The CAPF has proposed a three-phase reform of the economic evaluation (EE) and budget impact analysis (BIA) processes. The first phase involves the mandatory submission of EE and BIA by applicants for new drugs.
