Department of Clinical Neurosciences, University of Cambridge, Cambridge, UK.
Study Design: Retrospective cohort study.
Objective: Tackling delayed diagnosis in degenerative cervical myelopathy (DCM) is a global research priority. On average, it takes 2-5 years, leading to worse outcomes from surgery and greater disability.

Chronic pain and fatigue in musculoskeletal disease contribute significantly to disability, and recent studies suggest an association with reduced motivation and excessive fear avoidance. In this behavioural neuroimaging study, we aimed to identify the specific behavioral and neural changes associated with musculoskeletal pain and fatigue during reward and loss decision-making. Twenty-nine participants with chronic inflammatory arthritis and 28 healthy controls performed an instrumental learning task (4-armed bandit) during 3T brain fMRI.

Background: Trimming is critical for a functioning equine hoof. Pressure distribution provides information on loading; however, information on the effects of trimming on pressure distribution is lacking.
Objectives: To describe the pressure changes of equine fore feet following trimming.

To provide a comprehensive and updated mapping of observational studies assessing the relationship between periodontitis and systemic diseases through a bibliometric and visual analysis. A search was conducted using the Web of Science database, covering the period 1989 to 2024. The Medical Subject Headings (MeSH) from the US National Library of Medicine was used to categorize systemic conditions, focusing on terms unrelated to stomatognathic diseases.

Background: MicroRNAs, a class of small noncoding RNAs, serve as post-transcriptional regulators of gene expression and are present in a stable and quantifiable form in biological fluids. MicroRNAs may influence intra-articular responses and the course of disease, but very little is known about their temporal changes in osteoarthritis.
Objectives: To identify miRNAs and characterise the temporal changes in their abundance in SF from horses with experimentally induced osteoarthritis.
