We compute the color-singlet and color-octet nonrelativistic QCD (NRQCD) long-distance matrix elements for inclusive production of P-wave quarkonia in the framework of potential NRQCD. In this way, the color-octet NRQCD long-distance matrix element can be determined without relying on measured cross section data, which has not been possible so far. We obtain inclusive cross sections of χ_{cJ} and χ_{bJ} at the LHC, which are in good agreement with data. In principle, the formalism developed in this Letter can be applied to all inclusive production processes of heavy quarkonia.

The quark-gluon plasma analysis relies on the heavy quark potential, which is influenced by the anisotropic plasma parameter temperature (t), and baryonic chemical potential (μ). Employing the generalized fractional derivative Nikiforov-Uvarov (GFD-NU) method, we solved the topologically-fractional Schrödinger equation. Two scenarios were explored: the classical model (α = β = 1) and the fractional model (α, β < 1).

The B_{c}^{+} meson is observed for the first time in heavy ion collisions. Data from the CMS detector are used to study the production of the B_{c}^{+} meson in lead-lead (Pb-Pb) and proton-proton (pp) collisions at a center-of-mass energy per nucleon pair of sqrt[s_{NN}]=5.02  TeV, via the B_{c}^{+}→(J/ψ→μ^{+}μ^{-})μ^{+}ν_{μ} decay.

Elliptic Flow of Heavy Quarkonia in pA Collisions.

Key Laboratory of Quark and Lepton Physics (MOE) and Institute of Particle Physics, Central China Normal University, Wuhan 430079, China.

Using the dilute-dense factorization in the color glass condensate framework, we investigate the azimuthal angular correlation between a heavy quarkonium and a charged light hadron in proton-nucleus collisions. We extract the second harmonic v_{2}, commonly known as the elliptic flow, with the light hadron as the reference. This particular azimuthal angular correlation between a heavy meson and a light hadron was first measured at the LHC recently.

We study inclusive processes involving two heavy quarkonia in nonrelativistic QCD (NRQCD) and demonstrate that, in the presence of two P-wave Fock states, NRQCD factorization breaks down, leaving uncanceled infrared singularities. As phenomenologically important examples, we consider the decay ϒ→χ_{cJ}+X via bb[over ¯](^{3}P_{J_{b}}^{[8]})→cc[over ¯](^{3}P_{J}^{[1]})+gg and the production process e^{+}e^{-}→J/ψ+χ_{cJ}+X via e^{+}e^{-}→cc[over ¯](^{3}P_{J_{1}}^{[8]})+cc[over ¯](^{3}P_{J}^{[1]})+g. We infer that such singularities will appear for double quarkonium hadroproduction at next-to-leading order.
