Background: Evidence on variation in the information provided to mothers during antenatal and postnatal periods, its influence on breastfeeding awareness, and practice in urban and rural settings of India is scarce. The aim of the study was to assess the variation in mothers experience during pregnancy, delivery, and maternity period across settings and its influence on breastfeeding practices in the first six months of infants' life.
Methods: A community-based analytical cross-sectional study was carried out in urban and rural settings of Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, among 800 mothers who had delivered between one year and six months before the date of the survey using simple random sampling.

Background: The Vietnam midwifery report acknowledges that while health services are available in Vietnam, there is growing need to increase levels of respectful maternal care provided to women in labour.
Objective: In conjunction with newborns Vietnam charity, our objective was to assess the perceived continuous professional development needs of midwives working in Vietnam to inform development of an intranatal respectful maternal care education resource.
Method: A qualitative exploratory descriptive method was used to conduct a training needs analysis, which identified perceived education requirements of midwives in Vietnam in relation to providing respectful maternal care.
Clostridioides difficile infection (CDI) has become a serious medical and epidemiological problem with a marked increase in incidence and severity [1]. CDI is responsible for 15-25% of all anti-biotic-associated diarrhea cases, with a considerable increase in the 21st century [2]. Recommended first-line therapy for CDI involves oral vancomycin [1].

Objective: This study aims to describe the implementation of continuity of care model in maternal health services starting from pregnancy, childbirth, and the puerperium.
Methods: Literature is obtained from online journal databases, namely PubMed, EBSCO, and ScienceDirect, and other related sources, systematically from 2012 to 2019.
Results: Sixteen articles on the implementation of the continuity of care model of antenatal, intranatal, and postnatal care were described by demographic characteristics, scope, and impact.

Despite efforts taken by the Government of India, still mothers and new-borns are excluded from the postnatal care services, especially during the critical first 24 h after delivery. Hence, we have done this study to find the determinants of postnatal care for mothers and new-borns in India. We have analysed the NFHS-4 data gathered from Demographic Health Survey programme.
