BACKGROUND Arthroscopic surgery is esteemed for its arthroscopic lateral ligament repair to treating ankle ligament injuries, characterized by a low complication rate. Nevertheless, rare complications such as pseudoaneurysms require careful monitoring and a strategic approach to management during the postoperative follow-up period. This case report details a 42-year-old man with chronic instability in his left ankle.

Purpose: A larger medial meniscus extrusion (MME) predicts a poorer prognosis after arthroscopic pullout fixation for medial meniscus posterior root tears (MMPRT). However, the optimal knee position in surgery for MMPRT to reduce MME is unclear. We evaluated the MME at various knee positions used for medial fixation.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop an anatomically and surgically relevant classification system for medial meniscus ramp tears from prospectively collected data from a consecutive series of patients undergoing anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction (ACLR) with ramp tears.
Methods: A series of consecutive patients from two orthopedic surgeons between June 2021 to May 2024 undergoing ACLR with medial meniscus ramp tears were included in this study. After arthroscopic confirmation of a medial meniscus ramp tear, the tear morphology and repair technique were noted using a ramp tear diagram, operative notes, and surgical photos/videos.
