Low-temperature on-site in situ high-pressure ultrafast pump-probe spectroscopy instrument.

Rev Sci Instrum

January 2025

Beijing National Laboratory for Condensed Matter Physics, Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing 100190, China.

We design and construct an ultrafast optical spectroscopy instrument that integrates both on-site in situ high-pressure technique and low-temperature tuning capability. Conventional related instruments rely on off-site tuning and calibration of the high pressure. Recently, we have developed an on-site in situ technique, which has the advantage of removing repositioning fluctuation.

The city's rapid development would lead to irreversible changes in architectural heritage. As one of the ways to promote sustainable development, world heritage tourism has opened up a new perspective for the protection, inheritance and development of architectural heritage. Taking the study of architectural heritage in the Historic Centre of Macau as an example, employing eye-tracking experiment and semantic differential method (SD method) to explore the relationship between tourists' perceptions of visual elements of architectural heritage, positive emotions, and behavioral intentions.

Revolutionizing Dual-Band Modulation and Superior Cycling Stability in GDQDs-Doped WO Electrochromic Films for Advanced Smart Window Applications.

Small

January 2025

State Key Laboratory of Electronic Thin Films and Integrated Devices, National Engineering Research Center of Electromagnetic Radiation Control Materials, School of Integrated Circuit Science and Engineering, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Chengdu, 610054, P. R. China.

Dual-band tungsten oxide (WO) electrochromic films are extensively investigated, yet challenges persist regarding complex fabrication processes and limited cyclic stability. In this paper, a novel approach to prepare graphdiyne quantum dots (GDQDs) doped WO films with a hexagonal crystal structure, is presented. Structural characterization reveals that the GDQDs/WO possesses a coral-like, loose structure with high crystallinity due to the synergistic modulation of morphology and crystallinity.

A Novel In Vivo Method Using to Evaluate α-Glucosidase Inhibition by Natural Products for Type 2 Diabetes Treatment.

Pharmaceuticals (Basel)

December 2024

Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, School of Pharmacy and Nutrition, University of Navarra, Irunlarrea 1, 31008 Pamplona, Spain.

Background: Non-insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus, or type 2 diabetes, is one of the diseases of greatest concern worldwide, and research into natural compounds that are capable of regulating glycemia and insulin resistance is therefore gaining importance. In the preclinical stages, is considered a promising in vivo model for research into this disease. Most studies have been carried out using mutant strains and observing changes in their phenotype rather than directly measuring the effects within the worms.
