General practice-based care for Australian children is facing low levels of clinical guideline adherence particularly in three key areas: asthma, type 1 diabetes and antibiotic use. We offer an implementation science-informed position paper, providing a broad overview of how we aim to address this issue. This is the co-designed National Paediatric Applied Research Translation Initiative (N-PARTI), a bespoke, three-phased research solution by deploying mixed methods, simulation and scale-up of evidence into practice.

Forbs ("wildflowers") are important contributors to grassland biodiversity but are vulnerable to environmental changes. In a factorial experiment at 94 sites on 6 continents, we test the global generality of several broad predictions: (1) Forb cover and richness decline under nutrient enrichment, particularly nitrogen enrichment. (2) Forb cover and richness increase under herbivory by large mammals.

The existing risk sores for ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) patients cannot balance timeliness, feasibility, and accuracy. This study aimed to develop and validate a two-stage scoring system capable of dynamic evaluation for 30-day mortality among STEMI patients. We recruited 3939 patients and randomly assigned (7:3) to derivation (N = 2757) and internal validation (N = 1182) datasets, an independent cohort of 1315 STEMI patients was used for external validation.

Applying biochar and using cover crops are two potential approaches to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. However, the effectiveness of these methods, individually or in combination, in salt-affected soils remains unclear. Thus, the objective was to determine the impact of barley (Hordeum vulgare) and biochar on NO and CO emissions from salt-affected soil.
