Background: As lecanemab becomes available to people living with dementia, there is a pressing need to understand how they weigh the potential benefits against costs. This study investigates how older adults perceive lecanemab's risks and benefits and their approach to treatment decisions.
Methods: Semi-structured interviews of older adults undergoing evaluation in Neurology clinics for lecanemab eligibility at two academic medical centers.

Background: Breast cancer and reproductive system cancers remain significant public health threats for Chinese women. This study aimed to evaluate the latest epidemiological patterns and trends of four female-specific cancers in China.
Methods: The year- and age-specific estimates of the incidence, mortality, and disability-adjusted life-years (DALYs) associated with breast, cervical, ovarian, and uterine cancers in China from 1990 to 2021 were generated from the Global Burden of Disease, Injuries, and Risk Factors 2021 study.

Tornadoes are a considerable threat across the United States, occurring in many regions of the country on a frequent basis throughout the year. Finding a safe place to go during a tornado can be a challenge for many individuals, and, in some situations, there is no safe place available. Increasing the number of tornado shelters and establishing them in regions where they are not currently present can greatly improve the safety of local residents and visitors, especially for those who are unable to afford retrofitting a shelter into their own home or business.

Background: Exposure to nitrogen dioxide (NO) is associated with an increased risk of cardiovascular, respiratory, and other diseases and health outcomes. Although NO emissions have decreased in Germany, concentrations currently observed still pose a threat to population health. The aim of this study is to estimate the environmental burden of disease (EBD) resulting from long-term NO exposure in Germany from 2010 to 2021.
