Immediately post coronary artery bypass graft surgery, a 58-year-old woman developed excessive bleeding through the chest drains and hemodynamic instability, followed by total atrioventricular block requiring use of temporary pacemaker, which precluded electrocardiographic interpretation. She was referred for urgent diagnostic coronary angiography, which demonstrated important contrast leakage from the distal body of the saphenous vein graft to the first marginal branch. Acute saphenous vein graft perforation following coronary artery bypass graft surgery is rare. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first case report of acute saphenous vein graft perforation after coronary artery bypass graft surgery treated with a stent-graft.

Carotid artery stenting (CAS) has become a favoured alternative to surgical carotid endarterectomy (CEA) in select cases of critical internal carotid artery (ICA) occlusion. However, complications such as stent migration or entrapment can occur, necessitating prompt diagnosis and intervention. Objective: The surgical team in this study examined the efficacy of a modified reverse sural neurocutaneous flap repair in treating soft tissue defects of the ankle and foot caused by accidents.
Methods: This study enrolled 89 patients treated for soft tissue defects of the ankle or foot between January 2007 and December 2023. The patients were divided into two groups: 44 patients underwent a modified reverse sural neurocutaneous flap repair, while 45 received traditional treatment.
