India adopted changes in NTEP (Erstwhile RNTCP, Revised National TB Program, renamed as National TB Elimination Program) in the recent years with an aim to End TB by 2025 way ahead of the global target of ending TB by 2030. It is taking a long time for the changes to trickle down to the grass root level to change the behavior of the ground level force to understand and adopt to the changes that are being ordered and several other changes that are being pushed to the field in tandem. This has made field workers to be on their toes to understand and implement all the changes. The logistics like referral forms, GeneXpert/CBNAAT cartridges, slides etc., required for the program need to be calculated and used as per the changes. Shortages in the procurement or indenting will result in hampering the smooth functioning of the program. Accordingly, we calculated the logistics required for the patients estimated to occur in an area depending on the previous year's patient load. The breakup of the patients was adopted from the available references given. Also, the 2019 data of the load of different type of patients in India and the world were also taken. Total logistics were calculated for two hundred patients. Based on the calculations, a generic formula was derived. When the total number of patients in the previous year/quarter/or any period is N, then below is the formula which can estimate the required logistics for the next similar period.

Four new macrolides, spirosnuolides A-D (-, respectively), were discovered from the termite nest-derived sp. INHA29. Spirosnuolides A-D are 18-membered macrolides sharing an embedded [6,6]-spiroketal functionality inside the macrocycle and are conjugated with structurally uncommon side chains featuring cyclopentenone, 1,4-benzoquinone, hydroxyfuroic acid, or butenolide moieties.

Purpose: Highly sensitized patients (HSPs) with kidney failure have limited access to kidney transplantation and poorer post-transplant outcomes. Prioritizing HSPs in kidney allocation systems and expanding the pool of deceased donors available to them has helped to reduce their wait times for transplant and enhanced post-transplant outcomes. The Canadian HSP Program was established by Canadian Blood Services in collaboration with provincial organ donation and transplantation programs throughout the country to increase transplant opportunities for transplant candidates needing very specific matches from deceased kidney donors.

Objective: To investigate the effectiveness of 12-weeks hybrid virtual coaching on health-related quality-of-life (HrQoL) in patients with stable COPD.
Methods: We equipped all patients with a CAir Desk for telemonitoring, the intervention group additionally received hybrid virtual coaching through the built-in smartphone. The multimodal intervention based on the Living well with COPD programme, containing educational content, physical activity coaching, and home-based exercises.
Background: Following the widespread shift from in-person to virtual delivery of didactics during the COVID-19 pandemic, some emergency medicine (EM) residency programs have retained virtual didactic time while others have returned exclusively to in-person didactics. In this national survey of EM residency programs, we explored the current national distribution of virtual versus in-person didactic time and the circumstances and motivators for use of each.
Methods: A cross-sectional survey with branched logic was designed via Qualtrics.

Purpose: Epidemiologic studies suggest that the transgender population has a higher burden of cardiovascular (CV) disease. We aimed to assess CV risk and investigate the relationship between estradiol (E2) or ethinylestradiol (EE) use and carotid intima media thickness (cIMT) in transgender women.
Methods: This is a cross-sectional analysis nested into a transgender-specific cohort in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from August 2015 to February 2018.
