In Israel lived experience has been increasingly integrated into services through peer roles. The COVID-19 pandemic posed challenges to the mental health and well-being (MHW) of adolescents. The present study aimed to explore how parent-adolescent conversations may have protected (or threatened) adolescent mental health during the first year of the pandemic. We examined how parents and adolescents discussed MHW together and the influence of parents' affective conversational climate on changes in adolescent anxiety/depression over time.
